100th Year
A note from Paul Bugbee:
We’re excited to have family and friends here at the Hive as we celebrate life, humanity and togetherness. We also pause for a moment of gratitude to remember the many friends, guests and associates who enrich our lives each and every day.
As we enter our 100th year of resorting, in 2020 we’ll be setting the course for our second century of greeting guests and making memories. We have already begun construction on two new, side-by-side duplex buildings which will allow the addition of four three-bedroom cottages – replacing three of our oldest units – overlooking Lake Koronis.
We have also purchased back a neighboring two-bedroom cottage which my father originally built nearly 60 years ago. It is located on the waterfront and sits between the Cozy Bee and Drone cottages.
Perhaps the biggest news of all is the addition of Paul Waldowski and Jodi Crowell to our Bug-Bee Hive Resort management team. As a couple, Paul and Jodi bring a wealth of resorting know-how to our operations at the Hive including winter activities, conferences and events, and food and beverage experience.
Although they have already immersed themselves into many facets of our operation, their official starting date will be today, December 30th. We know that you’ll enjoy meeting them and we’re excited to extend our warmest greetings as we enter the New Year!!! Welcome Paul and Jodi!
Kella, Lori, Maia, Benjamin and I will continue to serve in major capacities around the resort to ensure great guest experiences and vacation memories for years to come.
Thank you!
